Chiasmus Ensemble

Chiasmus was founded in Manchester in 2009, under the direction of composer and conductor James Stephenson. Most members of the ensemble studied at the University of Manchester or Royal Northern College of Music, and now work with a variety of professional ensembles. Chiasmus is committed to experimenting with new musical ideas, working with other art forms, and bringing contemporary sounds to new places and new audiences.
